Tarjumatul Quran - Surahs al-Ahqaf [The Dunes]: 28 - Muhammad: 17

Description

The people commentary to the time of the Holy Prophet ﷺ are meant in verse Number 28 and they are warned that 'Before you We had destroyed the townships all around you and now there are even no signs of them left but We mention the Signs of the disbelievers before you by turns so that people may turn to God.'

Verse 30: I have prepared the translation of this verse with great care and effort.  According to me the party of Jinn mentioned in this verse were the dwellers of Afghanistan.  The Quran had reached them and they listened to it.  

When they appeared before the Holy Prophet ﷺ they listened to the Quran in silence and then returned to their people with a warning and spoke the words mentioned in verse Number 31 to their people.*  

This translation is exactly according to the historical facts and this translation is corroborated by verse Number 32.  People holding high positions in their nation are also called Jinn.  In this verse they wanted to disclose their arrival but whilst remaining hidden from the eyes of the Arabs.  Jinn can also be people that remain hidden from the eyes of the public at large.

2 principles are mentioned in verse Number 33 regarding those who oppose the Summoners to Allah:

1.  The deniers, have no power to frustrate the call of the Summoner.

2.. The deniers of the Messengers are lacking in miraculous powers because they have no friend.  

* Saying ‘O our people! We have heard a Scripture which has been sent down after Moses fulfilling what came before it guiding to the truth and to the right path.'

‘O our people! Respond to Allah’s Summoner and believe in Him. He will forgive you your sins and protect you from grievous torment.’
