In the creation of the heavens and the Earth and in the alternation of the night and the day there are indeed Signs for people of understanding.


There is a glorious Prophecy contained within the bounteous verse ....... السَّمَاوَاتِ  خَلْقِ فِي إِنَّ and this, in fact delivers tidings for the triumph of Islam.

In relation to the academic debate regarding the Pharaoh of Moses the intellectual children of the New Dedication Scheme for Children should receive training as Egyptologists.  Moreover a team of Ahmadi researchers should be trained who conduct research in this field utilising all resources even if it takes 50 years to carry it out.

Full research should be carried out regarding the drowning of Pharaoh for numerous reasons - 

The Bible mentions the drowning and destruction of Pharaoh along with all his compatriots.  The Quran is that unique book which mentions the preservation of his body in spite of his having drowned.  It is important to analyse whether it is possible that he recovered after the drowning and spent the remaining [years of his] life devoid of spirituality [if this is the case] then there is no harm [in this viewpoint].  

The Holy Quran is the first book which mentions the preservation of the bodies of the Pharaohs.

The best and most comprehensive book on this subject is Egypt & Bible History which Ahmadi scholars should make a point to read.  

The Bible mentions 2 Pharaohs who concern Prophet Moses.  However The Holy Quran reveals that there was only one Pharaoh in whose time all these events took place.  Looking at these verses collectively it does seem that it was only one Pharaoh.
