Description
O ye who believe! Be mindful of Allah and say the straightforward word. He will reform your conduct for you and forgive you your defaults. And whoso obeys Allah and His Messenger shall surely attain to a mighty success. ('The Holy Quran'. al-Ahzab [The Confederates]: 71, 72). Both the Jalsas of UK and Germany held in the last 2 months had their own unique colours and emotions. As far as the UK Jalsa is concerned it is really an international Jalsa in that people who are able to do so arrive here from all over the world and as far as the atmosphere goes it has attained the central status of the Jalsa of Rabwah. The Jalsa of Germany holds a unique position in terms of the sheer numbers of attendees and the representation of various nations. Germany is exclusive in terms of the large groups of foreign nationals who commune there. Seeing the large crowds the Amir of Germany said that it is increasingly becoming difficult to manage the people speaking other languages. So to resolve this we thought of a scenario where one vast Jalsa would encircle many aspects within itself which would include certain events in which everybody could gather together. This would be one of the scenarios of Jalsas of the future where Jalsas would be held in 10/15 languages simultaneously. This scenario which is emerging would begin from Germany. I hope that the Amir of Germany would remember this and test it out next year. Other than the busy schedule of the Jalsas held during this tour which took in Germany, Holland and Belgium with the grace of God many new avenues for the progress of Ahmadiyya have opened up and we have also been able to accomplish many beneficial works in this matter. Now that I have returned from the journey to the usual work of the center there is an enormous pile of work left to do. God willing I will now attend mostly to these works. These works have had a massive increase in sheer number but Allah the Almighty gives the ability to do them and accordingly increases the ability required to perform these tasks. He blesses the time and workers come forward with a passion to serve but only I will carry out the works that belong to me. However great the workload you should never ever imagine that it would outstrip the strength of the Caliph. The organisation of Supportive Authorities granted by God would work alongside the central system He has made and their Reference would continuously be reaching the mind.* This however would require extra prayers, given the complete trust that Allah is Himself carrying out the works. Whilst praying it is also important to keep the subject of schisms in view. The enemy always launches an onslaught in secret. One cannot sufficiently defend oneself from the enemy's attacks without prior knowledge of its methodology. In this relation continue praying that Allah the Almighty may show us the unseen in time and then enable us to retaliate effectively and grant us wisdom. It is foolish to neglect prayers. God would more be on the side of the person who prays more and the more one is trustworthy the more one would pray. With reference to the verse recited at the beginning of the sermon I would especially stress adopting the right word. The officials should also make use of the straightforward word when dealing with one another and avoid interfering in others' spheres [of influence]. What is meant by the Straightforward Word? The Straightforward Word concerns the familial relations as well as communal affairs. Wherever there are defaults appearing in the organisation it is due to lack of the Straightforward Word. How would you people fulfill the increasing responsibilities until you understand the subtle paths of God-consciousness? I announce that I would lead the funeral prayers of 3 deceased persons after the Jumma prayer although I have advised the Community not to request me to lead funeral prayers in absentia I nevertheless have a right to decide for myself whose funeral prayer I wish to lead in absentia. After the Jumma prayer I will lead the funeral prayers in absentia of the wife of Mian Muhammad Ibrahim Jamuni of Rabwah and Chaudhrey Muhammad Is'haq of Canada and beloved Daniel son of Chaudhrey Muhammad Ilyas of America. I am grateful for their affection and devotion, so I pray for their forgiveness and that they be granted a lofty station. * And Say ‘O my Lord make my entry a good entry and make me come forth with a good forthcoming and grant me from Thyself an supporting authority.
