Inspection of Arrangements for Jalsa Salana Germany 1998

I am trying to inculcate the traditions of the Jalsas [Annual Conventions] of the whole world upon the premise of the Central Jalsa such as those which took place in Qadian and Rabwah.  There are some administrative weaknesses which I would advise be eradicated.  I hope that God-willing the organisation would keep strengthening.  I am happy with the security system of the Community in Germany and commend them for it because Allah Almighty has granted the Community in Germany the superiority to be the first in forming the Teams which work around the clock and those Teams are active throughout the year however with this I would advise not to forget the tool of prayer because prayer is the reality so it is important to continue praying as well.

In the end I would remind you of the advice delivered at the Jalsa Salana in the U.K.  that driving should be avoided while feeling sleepy.  Take note of the incident which occurred some days ago and have no fear of being laid off from work because this is not a matter of losing one's job but of losing one's life.  The Community throughout the world suffers from it.  I hope there will not be any shortcomings in this matter which will be a cause of pain to the entire Community.

I pray that the organisation will carry out the work with proper accuracy. 

[Hazrat Khalifatul Masih inquired from the Jalsa Salana Officer whether the workers would be served tea on this occasion as was the custom in Qadian, Rabwah and now in the U.K.  The Officer replied that this was indeed the case].
