Description
Verse 36: If Allah the Almighty removes the worst of their actions He would also remove the lesser ones as well. The meaning of rewarding the best of actions is that the less important acts would also be raised in status and the reward would be worthy of the best acts. The process of أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ [Is not Allah all sufficient for His servant?'] in verse Number 37 is a continuous one for the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) and his servants. It means [to ask] 'Has not Allah the power to remove all the flaws of His servant.' But it is important to be a servant. In verse Number 42 Almighty God addresses the Holy Prophet ﷺ stating that 'We have revealed a Book to you that is of benefit to the whole of the human race. Nothing is outside the circle of this Book and it fulfills all requirements.' Verse Number 43 explains the nature of one's sleep and death in an astonishing manner. That Almighty God withdraws the souls of all living creatures in the state of sleep and the spirits of those whoa re not meant to die are returned at a specific time and those who are meant to die are not returned their spirits, there are Signs in this state for those who understand. The Maulvis say that Allah took Jesus in body and soul [but] this verse falsifies the Maulvis. Allah the Almighty takes up the soul at a time of total death but the body is left remaining. The philosophy of death and life are mentioned in this verse. Who could have understood this secret at that time? So the things told about sleep and death are astonishing. The prayer of the Holy Prophet ﷺ upon sleeping and upon waking from sleep reveals that he was made fully aware of the reality of sleep and the subtleties of this subject. Verse 46: The idolaters never claim that they would be returned to the idols. Verse 47: In order to form a correct decision one must be عَلِمَ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَدَةِ ['Knower of the unknown and the apparent']. This is exactly how all that is غَيْبِ would be made شَّهَدَةِ on the Day of Reckoning as it states: The Book will be presented and thou wilst see the guilty fearing what is in it and they will cry out 'O woe to us! What a Book this is that leaves out nothing small or great but has recorded it.' They will find everything they ever did confronting, for thy Lord does not wrong anyone. (Surah al-Kahf [The Cave]: 50). 'What is it with this Book of recorded acts that it has accounted everything in it. It leaves out nothing small or great'. This verse also resolves Matter and Anti-Matter. This is a very subtle subject that has been opened in the word فَاطِرَ ['Prime Creator']. Verse Number 48 speaks of the state of dismay of the evildoers who are never ready to offer any sacrifice in this world for the sake of God but having seen the punishment in the hereafter they would wish that had they the wealth equal to the whole universe and even more than it they would have offered it as an expiation from the punishment that would pursue [them]. This is the outcome that would be made apparent on Doomsday. If one is to escape this dismay one should donate in this world. Verse 50: To appeal to God at a time of disaster and the tendency to speak of one's cunning and cleverness once the disaster has passed is also found in some believers. The faithful should take heed of this. The explanation of verse Number 52 is that the mere denial of a Prophet does not culminate in a grievous punishment. The prophet warns. The treacherous are punished. Sometimes a denial is made unknowingly through a dearth of the faculties. So this verse gives a tiding to the faithful that your opponents may use as much strength as they will in perpetrating cruelties but they would never frustrate you. Their opposing you is for the sake of the provisions the key to which is in the hands of Almighty God. 7 April 1998. © The Tahir Archive / MTA International, 2016.
