Tarjumatul Quran - Surah al-Mumin [The Believer]: 24 - 51
In continuation of the previous verse a theme emerges which has not been mentioned anywhere by the previous commentators. Here it speaks of the person who had hidden his faith. Allah the Almighty states that we sent Moses with Our Signs and prevailing arguments too the Pharaoh and Haman and Korah which means that all three who held an overriding authority in their own circles were addressed. In this respect this is a verse which holds great importance because the Pharoah ruled by means of these three. Haman controlled the Church. Korah was the Agent who earned the treasures for the Pharoah and Korah who was from the tribe of Moses had betrayed his own tribe and become the broker for the Pharoah and many people from the tribe of Moses had joined him due to his power and prestigious wealth. In verse Number 26 where it says قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَبْنَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟ نِسَآءَهُمْۚ ['Kill the sons of those who have believed with him and let their women live'] قَالُو points out that all three were giving the same command in their own respective circles. It is not proven from any history that young men were slain. What it meant was that those who held self-respect should be practically destroyed and those who are like women in nature, who are weak and your Agents they should be promoted. This is exactly what is happening these days. What happened in the days of the Pharaoh is happening all over the Third World. The Almighty God never lets the plots of the disbelievers that are the Evil Ruse to prosper. What hindered the Pharaoh from killing the Prophet Moses? The thing is that Pharoah's heart was not content and he took the splendour of the Prophet Moses to mean that he had some force behind him. As the Pharoah understood the criterion of the arguments of the Prophet Moses and the Potential of his discourage to prevail so to incite the masses he said that their faith was in danger from him 'So I wish to save you from trouble.' The Mullahs also use the excuse of trouble and say that 'We are banning the Ahmadis.' This is how these Mullahs copy the Pharaohs of the past. Verse 27: This time has passed upon the Ahmadis. There is a revelation of the Promised Messiah in which it is written: O Ali! Stay away from them, their helpers, and their harvest. Leave them and turn away from them. Then my mind moved towards the reception of revelation and God disclosed to me that one of my opponents said 'ذَرُونِىٓ أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ ['Let me kill Moses;'] that is, my humble self. I saw this dream at about 2:40 a.m., and it was the morning of Wednesday. Allah be praised for all this. (Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. 'Aina Kamalat e Islam'. Riyaz e Hind, 1893. 'Ruhani Khazain: v. 218f, 219f). The name Ali suggests that this incident would occur in the time of the fourth Caliph and that is exactly what happened. Verse Number 29 is very interesting and in it a new theme emerges that is the man from the family of the Pharaoh who hid his faith revealed his belief at the time when the intent to murder Moses was being planned. He was a believing man. He courageously called the Pharaoh and his fellows liars. The Pharaohs would not dare raise their hand against members of their own family for that would split the family into factions. They would save members of their own family from the punishments they meted out to others. This is another reason the believing man challenges the Pharaoh. He had full faith and trust in Allah and these things were making the Pharaoh more frightened so although the Pharaoh was perturbed but was unable to do anything. 27 April 1998. © The Tahir Archive / MTA International, 2016.
