Description
In relation to financial sacrifice and spending in the cause of Allah, true virtue is only that which coaxes one to spend out of love. 'The Noble Quran' tell us that those who desist from spending in the way of Allah are bent upon self-destruction. Moreover 'The Holy Quran' does not only teach one to spend but to spend in a manner which is excellent and teaches one to present the offerings adorned in a way which makes them look beautiful. Spending out of love is never born out of pomposity rather it is in secret and purports to be seen by the person for whom the offering is being made. Those who spend for the pleasure of Allah are oblivious of whether anyone else comes to know of it or not. One who loves Allah in secret and holds the characteristics of love outside of their every day lives which are not to be found in the habits of common people is treated accordingly by Allah the Almighty in an unusual and wonderful manner. So protect your offerings, watch over them and try to make them even more beautiful than they have been. 'The Noble Quran' speaks of such people who offer financial sacrifice but consider it a burden. Such expense can be of no benefit to them. In reality the wealth kept away from the way of God leads one to a destructive path and foremost is spiritual destruction which I have in mind. The children of such people are destroyed before their eyes. They are the target of many types of tribulations and in the final analysis the wealth of such a person proves to be accursed and they are deprived of bliss and their wealth serves no purpose for them. Some people become subjects and slaves to their own wealth and there are some who spend only for worldly gains. The revenues of such people are of no benefit to them. Those who secretly offer financial sacrifices for the cause of God many times God rewards them in this way that they are returned the exact amount somehow from the same place where they had spent it. This is a more of His love and it serves to show the giver that 'I am aware of what sacrifice you made secretly and I know it'. Some people are very stingy in this world and do not even spend upon their near relatives and companions but present their wealth in a grand and excessive manner for religious causes. This is trend among trading nations. This is a kind of stinginess to keep all their wealth to themselves egotistically. They know that what they will give to Allah will still be theirs. This is also a state of egoism and arrogance: not spending on the poor and the kindred. The foremost requirement of faith is that one spend for the cause of Allah but also spend on God's people on the other hand which will create harmony. This is because Divine lovers never bend in one direction. For those who spend on God's people for His sake, out of His love their expenditure for people are considered by God to be for His sake and Allah the Almighty certainly loves such beneficiaries. There are statement of the Promised Messiah (peace be upon him) about this which clarify these issues. I hope that the Community all over will keep watch over their expensiveness in the light of these writings, they concern one's intent of which either God is aware of the ones making the offering. If you will begin to deal kindly in consideration of these councils you will receive extraordinary blessings.
