Tarjumatul Quran - Surah HM al-Sajdah [HM The Bowing]: 5 - 23

Description

In verse Number 5 فَٱعْمَلْ [So carry on working in your way'] purports to a threat.  Meaning that you may say whatever you want and do whatever you are to do.  We will neither listen nor desist from our actions.  We will continue to do what we already do.  

In verse Number 9 أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ ['never ending reward'] also has the meanings of 'Innumerable rewards' as well as of ''Incessant reward'.  The broader meanings are that God would not oblige one for the rewarding.  His favour is common and unconditional.  

The following verse speaks of the stages of the creation of the Divine with which the contemporary Science agrees.  

In verse Number 10 where it says يَوْمَيْنِ ['two periods'] it does not mean a full two days but periods that can be short as well as long.  It means that they were created in two phases and two eras.    

قْوَتَهَا ['rising above it'] in verse 11 means the mountainous highlands.  The mountains were created upon elevated plains and provided direct means to eat and drink and this was divided into four phases.  Any questioners who wish to find out what kind of eras they were is another chapter that invites scientific investigation.    

The word ثُمَّ ['Then'] in verse Number 12 is used in the context of 'in addition to'.

Verse 13: سَبْعَ سَمَوَاتٍۢ ['seven heavens'] mean the seven atmospheres around the Earth.  Each of these spheres contains variant benefits in itself for the Earth the presence of which is extremely vital for the survival of humanity.  The researches of the scientists also testify to this.  The two periods of time mentioned in verse 13 are categorically known and they have actually been divided into 2 phases.
