Tarjumatul Quran - Surah al-Rahman [The Gracious]: 35 - 69

Verses 36 - 44: These verses picturise the atomic wars of the future and the deconstruction they would wreak .

Verse 45: يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ ['Between it and fiercely scalding boiling water will they go round'].  That is the criminals of that time would wander around in this hellish state and the ruined state of the land.  On one hand there would be the atomic war and if they evade that they would fall prey to the economic turmoil and tribulations of the country.  حَمِيمٍ آنٍ speaks of the internal burning in the human psyche and the weaknesses and unfulfilled desires of the past would also burn them with torment.  

Further on from verse Number 47 begins the mention of 2 Gardens being granted to those who lived in fear of God with thick branches and both these Gardens would flow with springs of God-consciousness that would keep the tree of God-awareness evergreen and fruitful in this world and in that world.

Verse Number 57 speaks of damsels with lowered eyes.  Maidenhead is related to a lowered gaze.  

Verse 59: The qualities of refulgent rubies and small pearls further reveals the reality behind قَاصِرَاتُ ['deep black eyes lowered'].  Rubies are brilliant and gleaming and pearls have a scent.

In verse Number 63 it says that in addition to these 2 Gardens there would be 2 further Gardens and there are 2 gushing fountains amidst the lush greenery.  These are the fountains of God's love that would be gushing forth simultaneously.
