Description

And if you apprehend a breach between them then appoint an arbiter from his people and an arbiter from her people.  If they desire reconciliation Allah will effect accord between them.  Surely Allah is All-Knowing All-Aware.

And worship Allah and associate naught with Him and be benevolent towards parents and to kindred and to orphans and the needy and the neighbour who is a kinsfolk and the neighbour who is not and the traveling wayfarer, and those whom your right hand possesses.  Surely Allah loves not the haughty the boastful.


Detail regarding the adjudicator in cases of conflicts between husband and wife.  The difference between حَكَمً and حاکم and clarification about the meanings of 'apprehend a breach'.  Mutual agreement about the decision made by a third party is important.  I recommend that this Dars today should be published in book form because the Board of Judges should pass decisions after having kept these instructions in sight.  The Holy Prophet's ﷺ counsel about the rights of the neighbour
