Description

O ye who believe! Be mindful of Allah and be with the truthful.

('The Holy Quran'.  al-Tawba [The Repentance]: 119).

I had recited this verse in the previous sermon as well and there were some excerpts by His Holiness the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) in its explanation that remained to be presented.  We shall not enter another topic until the theme of all these excerpts is explained to the Jamat.  Many of the excerpts of His Holiness the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) speak of the effects and blessings of entering into the company of the truthful.  His Holiness the Promised Messiah (peace be on him) states that 'The truth works upon one as long as one sits with a righteous and truthful [person] ......' the words of 'sits with' show that sometimes just to sit with the pious causes piety to be born in the heart, whether they utter anything from their mouths or not.  Then when a truthful person speaks one benefits therefrom all the more.  Those who sit in the company of those whose soul has found rest are influenced by them and their own hearts are granted a kind of solace.   Similarly one who has a self that incites to evil carries evil effects.

Keep the company of the righteous and righteousness would infuse your heart even without conversing and this is the bounty of Muhammad the Holy Messenger of Allah which continues to this day.  To become a person who acts righteously it is also important to familiarise oneself with the correct knowledge by remaining in regal company.  Today with the bounty of Allah the Almighty answers to the queries and allegations of the opponents have been given through MTA from every perspective.  It is important to promote this knowledge in the Jamats.  Spread this knowledge in abundance.  I assure you that you would master the ability to reply to all kinds of allegations.  

Truthfulness is not merely to speak the truth rather every statement and movement and halting of the truthful is filled with the truth.  One who keeps company with the truthful is granted the light which emancipates from sinfulness.
