Description

Verse 12: This verse speaks of  the women who came into the custody of the disbelievers.  God knows best whether they went of their own accord or whether the disbelievers captured them by force.  In such cases Allah Almighty has explained certain laws regarding women and repeatedly emphasised that all such matters be dealt with God-consciousness.  

In verse Number 13 'The Holy Quran' speaks of such words included in the oath of allegiance taken from women which are not in the oath of allegiance taken from men.  The essential point: They will not murder their children follows a discussion of the circumstances that result in such cases.  The guarding of chastity concerns women foremost.  Women can create a pure Society if they make a stand in favour of doing so.  يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ ['make a scandalous accusation'] is a feminine habit.  The vigour with which women make slanderous allegations is not to be found in men.  It is about the same that 'The Holy Quran' bears witness that  إِنَّ كَيْدَكُنَّ عَظِيمٌ ['Your sex devise very treacherous stratagems']* and this characteristic of women is also marked today.  In this relation women should be take extreme care and at the end of verse Number 13 after having taken an oath of allegiance from women one is advised to seek forgiveness for them.  This is because many people do not fulfill the obligatory responsibilities of their oaths so it is commanded that forgiveness be sought for them.  

Verse 14: To be dismayed regarding one's end encourages one to sin because only those whom Allah has cursed are dismayed about their ends and only those incur the wrath who disregard the hereafter.  

Explanation of verse 7 (Surah al-Saff), مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرًا بِرَسُولٍ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ أَحْمَدُ ۖ ['fulfilling that which has come to me of the Torah and brings good news of a Messenger who will come after me whose name will be Ahmad'].
