Friday Sermon
Khutba Juma
Urdu
Description
God willing tomorrow I am to embark on a foreign visit after which I will return approximately 3 weeks later. I especially stress to the England Jamat to continue with the good works I am starting you off on and they should not slacken in their attitude to work in my absence but would continue these works with a devoted effort and with love in a way that I should see improvement upon my return. The message is the same to Jamats the world over. The way how the Jamats all over the world have reacted to my previous Friday sermon is very pleasing. Without exception they have all affirmed that there were many voids which were not being observed prior to this sermon. Now that immediate attention has been paid after listening to this sermon it is felt that it is a great task that is paying attention is a grand task in itself for which we would have to occupy ourselves wholly and at all times and are doing so. I have also received ambitious and pleasing results from some ladies and I stress that concerted efforts be made for the availability of Literature and Cassettes for the purpose of inviting to Allah and a plan of action ought to be drawn to establish Libraries in every area for this which would ensure that the local requirements be fulfilled. Moreover there should be people in every area who know what material is in which book or Cassette and for what types of people. They should read it themselves, watch or listen to it and remember it in their minds and after reading and listening also remember the influence they have upon their minds and hearts because without this they would not know what thing is more effective for what kinds of people. In terms of the importance of 'The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam' there has been excessive demand for it wherever it has been introduced. So it is very important to create the demand. I also draw your attention to including the youth in the responsibilities for the libraries and the newcomers should also be included in these tasks. You should have Teams of Experts ready wherever you establish Libraries. In this connection Homoeopathy is also related to the knowledge of cure. Homoeopathy is also working very effectively with the grace of God in creating contacts for preaching. There are dozens of incidents where just by reading the Homoeopathy book people were drawn to Ahmadiyya. Include this book too as part of this library. Also if possible Ahmadi Homoepaths who are able should also be employed there to distributed free remedies. Records of the books and Cassettes borrowed or distributed from these libraries should also be kept so that books and Cassettes are not lost and can benefit effectively. This work requires concerted planning and would be accomplished in stages. Works as much as you are able. Never take on a burden in excess of your capacity - 'Allah never burdens anyone with more than they can bear'* that is even though He is Himself increases the capacity but He does so when the ability has reached its limit for that time. Never panic that you are beginning with only a little. You should begin working learning from God according to the ability granted for each area. Do not begin by making large Libraries because wherever the workload exceeds the ability the system would collapse. This is an important point to keep in view when paying attention to preaching. Always offer prayers for yourselves because all tasks are facilitated through prayers. If one is really looking in the direction of God and [the mind] is drawn to prayer then all difficulties are made easy right before one's eyes. If one does not look to God then even easy tasks become difficult. If you pray then you would often see that with the grace of Allah the broken things would be mended. * 'The Holy Quran'. al-Baqarah [The Heifer]: 287.
