Tarjumatul Quran - Sura' al-Muminun [The Believers]: 1 - 28

Description

Verse 3, 4: The connection between humility in prayer and [shunning] frivolity.  Those who are engrossed in worldly vanities are never graced humility in prayer.

Verse 13: The word سلالة ['extract of clay'] connotes the stages of evolution and the prescience of a primordial soul.  

Verse 14: قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ['Safe depository'] does not mean the mother's womb but those Cellular Tissues which are present in the pro-genitive matter of the male and female.

Verse 15: Explanation of the terms سلالة ['extract of clay'], عَلَقَةَ ['clotting'] and ضْغَةً ['lump'] and an interesting observation regarding the  ۚخَلْقًا آخَرَ ['another formation'].
